Not So Daily Rambles

So this is weird, I am finally getting round to my first post. I’ve put it off for months because I’ve spent too much time perfecting the way my blog looks but I think the words matter more than the pictures.

Okay so first, I am a rambler and writing to me is extremely important. It helps me express myself because when it comes to speaking, I never really know what to say. I’d like to say I’m a creature of habit but really I’m a bit forgetful so if I end up abandoning something (like this blog for example) I will get back to it eventually. Today was a good day and I needed it. This was exactly the reason why it was the perfect time to post this because I haven’t felt this happy in a long time and I wanted to document it somehow.

I woke up and found out that my exam grade (which I had taken at the beginning of the month) had been published early and I got a B!! Relieved is an understatement; I’ve stressed, cried and had numerous breakdowns, but I did it. Positive point number two: the weather was gorgeous so I took the opportunity to go on a walk around a public footpath with one of my close friends, Faye because there are several types of animals around the trail. We were out for ages taking hundreds of photographs of the pigs, horses, goats and alpacas. The goats were the friendliest little creatures and we spent a huge chunk of time feeding and stroking them. An even more exciting part of the day: I went to see Alice Through the Looking Glass with my parents because Alice in Wonderland is a huge love of mine. I waited long enough; I mean its only been out in cinemas here since Friday but still, and yes I cried at the end.

Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever had a day as wonderful as this in a long time. It was sooo needed after a rubbish few days of anxiety overload, and I am so grateful.

Until next time,

Neneh x
