So it’s finally come to my first post on something Alice in Wonderland related – it has been too long a wait! I went to a Summer Fete at Myton Hospice in Warwick for a few hours today and it was Alice themed! The hospice grounds were an endless maze (sorry I had to) of attractions, stands and food & drinks facilities for all ages.
Anything with the slightest reference or link to Alice attracts my attention. It’s my little love that I can lose myself in when I feel I need to.
There are a few reasons why I wanted to write this post, not just because of Alice.
Myton Hospice is a charity very close to my heart, a place where my great Nanna and a close family friend, both spent their last few weeks before they passed away.
With only three locations across the midlands there is also such a high demand for staff and donations. So anything that helps raise money for such an amazing cause is worth all of my time.
(I will put links to the website and ways of donating at the bottom of the post.)
The weather was perfect today, so the crowds were out in their hundreds. There was so much to take in so I took as many photographs as I could to do the event justice.
So many of the volunteers were dressed up as the Mad Hatter, The White Rabbit and The Red Queen and hats off to them (sorry) because they must have been boiling!
I could have stayed there all day but I think two hours was enough! Now for the pictures:

Myton Hospice are always looking for volunteers and donations so please take a look at their website to see the ways you can get involved.
Until next time,
