Not So Daily Rambles #5

Yes so I may have had another (mini) blog hiatus but all shall be explained if you carry on reading – aka you should carry on reading!!

I will update you on what I have been up to recently because I have done so much I don’t even know where to start. I’m trying to rack my brains to think what I need to update my ‘avid’ readers with. I’ve been up to a lot recently since my adventures in Wales, I’ve had friend’s birthdays, a trip to London with a visit to the Olympic Park and venturing into the world of Notting Hill Carnival (yes I am doing a blog post on this) and I have tried some new culinary creations which I’m sure you’re dying to hear about, I’m not trying to blow my own trumpet here, honest!

Most recently I went for a lovely walk with my parents to Ryton Pools (the first photo was taken there) which is in Ryton-on-Dunsmore, a cute little country park in Warwickshire. We decided to go blackberry picking because they usually come out in August/September time and managed to collect hundreds which were made into some delicious blackberry and apple crumbles. I took a couple of photos but I forgot most of the time as I was admiring the scenery and because we visited the park towards the end of the summer holidays there were literally children everywhere so they got in my goddamn photographs!

I have been working at Warwick County Council for the last few weeks in the HR department doing all things admin and I am loving it. Everyone on my team has been so welcoming and I’ve settled right in. It has been a great confidence boost for me because I finished uni and desperately wanted to get into the working world; it took me a while but I got there, and it was worth it in the end.

Apologies for the short and sweet update, I promise I will be more active now that I have my butt in gear!
